Cookie Policy

We only place analytics and marketing cookies after you give consent. Functional choices are stored locally on your device.

1. What are cookies and local storage?

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device and reads again on a later visit. Besides cookies, this website also uses your browser local storage (localStorage). Both remember information on your device, but they are technically different mechanisms. In this policy we state for each item whether it is a cookie or local storage, so you know exactly what happens.

2. Controller

Speedy Systems is responsible for the use of cookies and local storage on speedysystems.eu.

3. How consent works

On your first visit we show a cookie banner with Accept and Decline buttons. We record your choice in your browser local storage under the name cookie-consent (so this is not a cookie).

  • If you choose Accept, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel are loaded and the associated cookies are placed.
  • If you choose Decline (or make no choice), these trackers are not loaded and place no cookies.
  • Functional items (the session cookie, your theme and your cookie choice) are strictly necessary or purely serve your own preference and need no consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the website. If you withdraw your consent, the analytics and marketing cookies stop loading from that moment on.

4. Overview of cookies and local storage

The retention periods of the third-party cookies follow the standard settings of Google and Meta.

5. Functional items (necessary and preferences)

Session cookie PHPSESSID

The server sets this cookie to recognise your session and to make security checks (such as CSRF protection) work. This cookie is strictly necessary for the operation of the website and disappears at the end of your browser session.

Local storage: cookie-consent and theme

Your choice in the cookie banner (cookie-consent) and your chosen theme (theme) are stored in your browser local storage, not as a cookie. This means you do not have to set your preferences again on every visit. These items contain no third-party personal data and purely serve your own preference and the operation of the consent mechanism.

6. Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GXK4L0H0LQ) to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited. These cookies are only placed after you have given consent. Google processes this data as a third party and may process it outside the European Economic Area on the basis of appropriate safeguards. Read more in our privacy policy.

7. Marketing cookies — Meta Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (ID 2991756894544650) to measure the effectiveness of advertisements and to recognise visitors in advertisements. These cookies are only placed after you have given consent. Meta processes this data as a third party and may process it outside the European Economic Area on the basis of appropriate safeguards.

8. No third-party fonts

The fonts on this website are self-hosted: they are loaded from our own server. There is therefore no request to an external font service and no associated cookies or IP data are sent to such services.

9. Disabling or managing cookies

You have several ways to manage cookies:

  • Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the website to reopen the cookie banner and change your choice.
  • Delete or block cookies through your browser settings; consult your browser manual for this.
  • Please note that fully blocking functional cookies may affect the operation of the website.

10. Changes and contact

We may adjust this cookie policy when our use of cookies or the legislation requires it. The current version is always on this page. Questions? Contact us at info@speedysystems.eu.
